done with another score for now;

from another score, after a rehearsal with our pianist once:

bar 3: "we're all heavenly and sirenly. hey, sirenly... i just made up a word..."

bar 7: "it's like christmas in a bag!"*

bar 30: "imagine you're being french: say [in camp voice] 'oooh, jon'..."

bar 38: "no bad thoughts about sarah, she's my favourite pianist in the world apart from myself..."

(sadly, that's as far as we got in one rehearsal.)

* story: at christmas, he went home to his family, and there his elderly grandmother sat looking at the lights & general festivities and said, rather dazedly, "it's just like christmas...". he's now proceeded to say of anything good, variations on "ooh! it's like christmas in a jar!" *grin*
