i only discovered today that pressing the # key when using the punctuation screen to compose (bits of) a text message on a nokia 3310 (i think?) moves the cursor down a line. that would have saved me surely a couple of thousand keypresses if i'd thought to try it earlier.

the fun thing about things i notice, though, is that i tend to announce them to people who haven't noticed them. like the fact that a current land rover advert is a row of people arranged in such a manner that they look like a land rover, or that the dr. martens logo looks like a dr. marten...
